Our Projects and Goals:

Future Plan for 2010:

Upgrade the school upto lower secondary level.
Repairing old building for medical estabishment with parqueting in floor, ground and wall.
Manage and safe village's wastage or un necessary things/goods.
Establish Library for school

Current Projects:

We are currently provided the medicine to Singla Village. We already formulate the internal committee for manage and provide medicine to people.
There are only sent three (3) government teachers for over 190 children, it is very difficult to teach for teachers and students, so we provide 2 extra teachers for primary level.
We provide extra salary (800+) for peon and make sanitation for school.
To provide scholarship for orphans and talents students for higher education.

Possibility Works:

If we can manage budget, repair the building for Guest House "Pauna Ghar".
Providing salary for Medical assistant (CMA Holder, Mandani Gurung.)
Providing two teacher's salary.

Singla village is still poor and backward in the field of education. Due to lack of funding the government has only sent three teachers for over 190 children. Classrooms are unorganized and children of mixed ages have to study together which make it difficult for the teachers to teach and students to learn. So, Our (Himalaya Yatra) aim is to increase the Classrooms and Class (Grade) upto 7 at Singla Primary School, to establish a Health Post at Singla & provide scholarship for Orphans & Talent students for higher education.
